AMERICAN CARS PRE-1976 - BOREX

American classic car show & fifties / sixties atmosphere
Organized by Happy Days Diner – Nyon

Normally quiet, the Pétaney parking lot in Borex is transformed once a year into a real trip back in time.

At the last edition, dozens of pre-1975 American cars flocked to share a common passion: big bodies, legendary engines and the unique atmosphere of the 50s and 60s.

The event, launched by Christine Bussat, manager of the Happy Days Diner in Nyon, brings together enthusiasts, the curious and those nostalgic for the American Dream for a convivial, festive day.

A journey into the American Dream

Beyond the cars, a whole era comes to life:
rock’n’roll, chrome, pin-ups, burgers and good humor.

Visitors come with their families or with other enthusiasts to admire rare models, discuss mechanics and share a warm atmosphere.

Despite changes in the automotive world, the passion remains intact: these cars represent a heritage, an era and an emotion that enthusiasts want to preserve.

An undiminished passion

Participants come from far and wide to exhibit their vehicles.

Some have been restoring their cars for years, others have rescued them from abandonment. All share the same desire: to bring these legendary machines to life and pass on their passion.

This event is above all a time for sharing, exchanging ideas and getting together with other enthusiasts.

Food Truck & American diner atmosphere

The Happy Days Food Truck will be present at the meeting to recreate the authentic atmosphere of American diners.

Burgers, fries and American specialties accompany the day in a friendly, festive atmosphere.
